AH Heavy Duty Centrifugal Slurry Pump
The AH series slurry pump is a horizontal, cantilever, single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump. It features a double-casing structure, with its main flow parts made of high-chrome wear-resistant alloy material. This design is well-suited for transporting abrasive or corrosive slurries. Due to its simple structure, stable and reliable operation, it finds widespread applications across various industries, including metallurgy, mining, petroleum, chemical, coal, power generation, transportation, river dredging, construction materials, and municipal engineering.
The AH series slurry pump is particularly suitable for handling highly abrasive, high-concentration slurries or low-concentration, high-head slurries, and it can even be used in series within the pump’s allowable working pressure range to perform long-distance slurry transport tasks.
Features
The AH series slurry pump is designed with a horizontal double-casing structure, with the pump body and cover made of cast iron material. The impellers are constructed from high-chrome wear-resistant alloy material or rubber. The impeller’s front and back shrouds are equipped with vanes to reduce leakage and enhance the pump’s service life. The pump’s discharge direction can be rotated in eight different positions (each at 45 degrees), making installation convenient.
The drive components consist of a support frame and bearing assembly. The bearing assembly adopts an internationally leading cylindrical structure, making it easy to adjust the clearance between the impeller and the front liner. During maintenance, it can be removed as a whole, making it simple and convenient.
The pump shaft has a large diameter, excellent rigidity, and a short cantilever, which prevents bending and vibration even in harsh conditions. Depending on the transmitted power, heavy-duty single-row or double-row tapered roller bearings, and cylindrical roller bearings can be selected for the bearings. These bearings can withstand high axial and radial loads. They are lubricated with grease, and both ends of the bearing housing are equipped with sealing end covers, labyrinth sleeves, and labyrinth seals to effectively prevent slurry and contaminants from entering the bearings, ensuring safe and durable operation.
The sealing method can be chosen based on requirements, including packing seal, expeller seal, or mechanical seal.
